After The Next OTA Update, Ubuntu Touch Will Switch To Ubuntu 15.04

Hello Linux Geeksters. As a reminder, Canonical and Bq has created a series of automated tests to find out which apps drain the phone’s battery and based on the results, they will also add battery improvements with the next OTA update.

Most likely, Canonical will also fix the issue that forced the users to factory reset their BQ phones, in order to make get rid of the reboot loop issue.

After The Next OTA Update, Ubuntu Touch Will Switch To Ubuntu 15.04

Their next OTA update should be the last one until the Ubuntu RTM branch migrates to Ubuntu 15.04 as code-base.

As you may know, the first Ubuntu phones are the BQ Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition and the Meizu MX4 Ubuntu, but Ubuntu Touch is officially supported also on the LG Nexus 4 device, while some unofficial Ubuntu Touch ports for OnePlus One and LG Optimus G are in the works.
