Hello Jolla Enthusiasts. As you may know, the Jolla developers have been invited at the MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2014, which takes place in 24-27 February, in Barcelona.
Most likely, Jolla will present their plans for the next Jolla phone, information about Sailfish OS and its support for Android devices and a bunch of new The Other Half covers.
For now, we know for sure that a new cover will be presented, similar to “The First One”, the cover that was sold to the first pre-orderers of Jolla, but without the “The First One” text, besides the already available two new covers: The Other Half Keira Black and The Other Half Aloe.
The bloggers attending the MWC 2014 will be able the meet with important Jolla developers, including Marc Dillon, Carol Chen and Juhani Lassila, in 25-26 February. The Jolla stand is in Hall 1 – Booth 1B25.
For those who don’t know yet, Jolla is a project developed by former Nokia employees. The first Jolla smartphone is running on Sailfish OS, a modified Megoo Linux system, which is Android compatible, uses Wayland as the default display server , uses Nokia N9′s Maliit touchscreen keyboard and comes with interchangeable covers, allowing the users to easily switch them, in order to change the color/model of the phone and comes with impressive hardware specifications.
