Both BQ And Nexus 4 Phones Running Ubuntu Touch Have Over 50% More Battery Life, After The Latest OTA Update

Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Canonical has released a few days ago their third Ubuntu Touch OTA update, which comes with battery improvements and bug-fixes.

Some users that had received the update have reported that it is the best so far, the phone’s battery life being increased with 50%, in some cases. This battery improvements have been spotted on both the BQ and the Nexus 4 devices, running Ubuntu Touch.

As you may know, the first Ubuntu phones are the BQ Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition and the Meizu MX4 Ubuntu, but Ubuntu Touch is officially supported also on the LG Nexus 4 device, while some unofficial Ubuntu Touch ports for OnePlus One and LG Optimus G are in the works.
