As you may know, the Raspberry Pi is a small ARM computer, created in order to help the IT beginners to understand how the computer works and do basic programming.
Some geeks from the DukePad team have created a set of instructions that allow the user to transform the Raspberry Pi board into a tablet. The user gets a full list of hardware that needs to be purchased, the designs for the case and the needed guidance for installing Raspbian and Java, in order to get a friendly-touch screen.
This project is for the geeks that want to build a tablet themselves, despite the fact that it will get more expensive than an good one. For full instructions and more, see the DukePad official page.
