Canonical and Zabbix Want to Create a Better Internet of Things (IoT)

Canonical and Zabbix are working together for a better Internet of Things.

Canonical and Zabbix have teamed up to make Zabbix the communication platform between Ubuntu Snappy Core (Canonical’s IoT OS) and the end-user:

“Implementation of such control requires a secure platform for communication as IoT accesses much of our personal data, as well as efficient technology because IoT resources are very scarce. This is where Zabbix and Canonical come
into play,” said Sergey Sorokin, Director of Business Development at Zabbix.

What is Zabbix?

Zabbix is an open-source, platform-independent enterprise system monitor solution similar to Nagios or Cacti, used on a lot of Linux servers.
