Debian Could Officially Support PPAs

Hello Linux Geeksters. According to one of the developers, Debian could get official support for the LaunchPad PPAs.

Debian Could Officially Support PPAs

Once an year, the Debian team chooses its Project Leader and one of them, Neil McGovern has proposed the idea of officially supporting LaunchPad PPAs. The voting for the Debian yearly president will last until the 30th of March and there are only 2 candidates.

There is a lot of democracy in the Debian family, the developers throwing to vote all the new ideas and allowing the majority to decide which is best. For choosing systemd over Upstart, in Debian 8 Jessie, they have voted a few times.
