Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, the XFCE4 Composite Editor is a tool enabling the users to customize the XFCE window manager. It has a simple and intuitive graphical user interface, permitting the users to adjust the opacity, length and height of the windows, and many others. The latest version available is XFCE4 Composite Editor 1.0.2.
In this article I will show you how to install XFCE4 Composite Editor 1.0.2 on Xubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Xubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Xubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal and Xubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin.
Because it is available via PPA, installing XFCE Theme Manager 0.3.4 on Xubuntu is easy. All you have to do is add the ppa to your system, update the local repository index and install the xfce4-composite-editor package. Like this:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:rebuntu16/other-stuff
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install install xfce4-composite-editor
