How to Install Bluefish 2.2.4

Bluefish, is a powerful editor, very usefull for programmers and webdevelopers. The last version is Bluefish 2.2.4.

In this article I will show you how to install Bluefish 2.2.4, on the Linux and Unix Systems.

We will install Bluefish 2.2.4 from sources:

This is what you have to do:

Download Bluefish:

$ wget www.bennewitz.com/bluefish/stable/source/bluefish-2.2.4.tar.gz

Extract Bluefish and cd into it:

$ tar -xzvf bluefish*.tar.gz
$ cd bluefish*

Create the makefile:

$ ./autogen.sh

Compile the sources:

$ make

Install the application:

$ sudo make install
