Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Darling is an open source application, similar to Wine, enabling the installation of Mac OS X applications on Linux systems. The latest version available is Darling 0.0.1, which is still a pre-alpha release. (seen on lffl)
For now, many popular Mac OS X applications don’t work emulated with Darling, but it will be soon improved.
In this article I will show you how to install Darling 0.0.1 on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Linux Mint 16 Petra and Linux Mint 15 Olivia.
Because it is available via PPA, installing Darling 0.0.1 on Ubuntu and Linux Mint is easy. All you have to do is:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:thopiekar/darling
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install darling
