How To Install DeVeDe 3.23 On Ubuntu 13.10, 13.04, 12.10, 12.04, Linux Mint 15, 14, 13 And Elementary OS 0.2 Luna

Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, DeVeDe is an open-source application for creating DVDs, from almost any video format, supported by MPlayer. The latest version available is DeVeDe 3.23. For more information, see the changelog.

 how to install DeVeDe 3.23 on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 16 Petra, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia, Linux Mint 13 Maya and Elementary OS 0.2 Luna.

In this article I will show you how to install DeVeDe 3.23 on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 16 Petra, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia, Linux Mint 13 Maya and Elementary OS 0.2 Luna.

Because DeVeDe 3.23 is available via the default repositories of Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Linux Mint 16 Petra and Linux Mint 15 Olivia, all you have to do is update the local repository index and install the app:

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install devede

To install DeVeDe 3.23 on Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 14 Nadia, Linux Mint 13 Maya and Elementary OS 0.2 Luna, we have to download the deb file from the official site and install it with dpkg -i:

$ wget -c www.rastersoft.com/descargas/devede_3.23.0-1~rastersoft2_all.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i devede_3.23.0-1~rastersoft2_all.deb
$ sudo apt-get install -f
