How to Install Django on Ubuntu 13.04, 12.10, 12.04, Linux Mint 15, 14, 13 and Fedora 18, 17, 16

In this article I will show you how to install Django on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 http://linuxg.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/django-logo.jpgQuantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia and Linux Mint 13 Maya.

Django is a Python web framework encouraging rapid development and clean, pragmatic design.

It is recommended to use easy_install for installing Django. easy_install is part of the python-setuptools package.

How to Install Django on Ubuntu 13.04, 12.10, 12.04 and Linux Mint 15, 14, 13:

First install python-setuptools:

$ sudo apt-get install python-setuptools

Install Django:

$ sudo easy_install django

How to Install Django on Fedora 18, 17, 16 and CentOS:

First install python-setuptools:

$ sudo yum install python-setuptools

Install Django:

$ sudo easy_install django
