Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, FileZilla is a popular FTP client, working on both Windows and Linux. The latest version available is FileZilla 3.7.3, which has been recently released, bringing improvements to the previous version FileZilla 188.8.131.52. For a full list of changes, see the changelog.
In this article I will show you how to install FileZilla 3.7.3 on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Linux Mint 15 Olivia and Linux Mint 14 Nadia.
Because it is available via PPA, installing FileZilla 3.7.3 on Ubuntu and Linux Mint is easy. All you have to do is:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:n-muench/programs-ppa
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install filezilla
