How To Install FlareGet 4.2-92 On Ubuntu, Debian And Derivative Systems

  • other minor bug fixes and improvements

Because it is not available via any repository or PPA, we have to download the package from the official site and install it by hand. Follow the instructions for your system and architecture exactly, in order to get a successful installation.

How to install FlareGet 4.2-92 on Ubuntu, Debian and derivative systems:

Instructions for 32 bit systems:

$ sudo apt-get install gdebi
$ wget flareget.com/files/flareget/debs/i386/flareget_4.2-92_i386.deb
$ sudo gdebi flareget_4.2-92_i386.deb

Instructions for 64 bit systems:

$ sudo apt-get install gdebi
$ wget flareget.com/files/flareget/debs/amd64/flareget_4.2-92_amd64.deb
$ sudo gdebi flareget_4.2-92_amd64.deb

Optional, to remove flareget, do:

$ sudo apt-get remove flareget
