how to install Frescobaldi 2.0.10 on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 12.1o Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 16 Petra, Linux Mint 14 Nadia and Linux Mint 13 Maya.

In this article I will show you how to install Frescobaldi 2.0.10 on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 12.1o Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 16 Petra, Linux Mint 14 Nadia and Linux Mint 13 Maya.

Because Frescobaldi 2.0.10 is available in the default repositories of Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander and Linux Mint 16 Petra, all you have to do is:

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install frescobaldi

To install Frescobaldi 2.0.10 on Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 14 Nadia and Linux Mint 13 Maya, you have to add the ppa:ryanakca/frescobaldi PPA:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ryanakca/frescobaldi
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install frescobaldi

      yes, but the version from the default repos of ubuntu 13.04 is outdated and the ppa from the article does not work on 13.04
