How To Install FrostWire 5.6.1 On Fedora, OpenSUSE And Other RPM Based Distros

Hello Linux Geeksters. In this article I will show you how to install FrostWire 5.6.1 on Fedora 19, Fedora 18, Fedora 17, OpenSUSE 13.1, OpenSUSE 12.3, OpenSUSE 12.2, Mageia 3, Mageia 2 and CentOS.

FrostWire is an open-source BitTorrent client, working on Linux, Windows and Mac. It has been released as a fork for LimeWire, but the developers added also BitTorrent support. More information on the latest FrostWire version, FrostWire 5.6.1 can be found here.

To install FrostWire 5.6.1 on Fedora, OpenSUSE, Mageia and others, do this:

$ wget -c dl.frostwire.com/frostwire/5-beta/frostwire-5.6.1.build1.noarch.rpm
$ sudo rpm -i frostwire-5.6.1.build1.noarch.rpm
