In this article I will show you how to install Git 2.0.0.2 on Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr, Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 17 Qiana, Linux Mint 16 Petra, Linux Mint 13 Maya, Pinguy OS 14.04, Pinguy OS 12.04, Elementary OS 0.3 Isis, Elementary OS 0.2 Luna, Pinguy OS 14.04, Pinguy OS 12.04, LXLE 14.04 and other Ubuntu derivative systems.
