Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Linus Torvalds has released Kernel 4.0 RC7 yesterday, with one day delay.

Most likely, the stable version of Kernel 4.0 will be released next week and should bring the “Live Patching” feature, which would allow the users to install and use the kernel without rebooting the system. While this is not important for regular users, this feature is very good for Linux servers.
