The latest version available is Picapy 2.1.2, which has been recently released.

how to install Picapy 2.1.2 on Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr, Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal and derivative systems, like Linux Mint 17 Qiana, Linux Mint 16 Nadia and Linux Mint 14 Nadia.

In this article I will show you how to install Picapy 2.1.2 on Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr, Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal and derivative systems, like Linux Mint 17 Qiana, Linux Mint 16 Nadia and Linux Mint 14 Nadia.

Because it is available via the Atareao PPA, installing Picapy 2.1.2 on the listed Ubuntu and Linux Mint systems is easy. All you have to do is add the ppa to your system, update the local repository index and install the picapy package. Like this:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:atareao/atareao
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install picapy
