How To Install Pogo Audio Player On Ubuntu And Linux Mint

Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Pogo is a simple and lightweight easy-to-use Audio Player based on Decibel, written in Python and using GTK+ and gstreamer. It is capable of finding a song very fast, in the playlist.

In this article I will show you how to install Pogo Audio Player on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx, Linux Mint 16 Petra, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia and Linux Mint 13 Maya.

Because it is available via PPA, installing Pogo Audio Player on Ubuntu and Linux Mint is easy. All you have to do is:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:pogo-dev/daily
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install pogo
