In this article I will show you how to install QMPlay2 on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 16 Petra, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia, Linux Mint 13 Maya and Elementary OS 0.2 Luna.

Because it is available via PPA, installing QMPlay 2 on Ubuntu, Linux Mint and Elementary OS is easy. Follow the above instructions, in order to get a successful installation:

Add the repository:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:samrog131/ppa

Update the local repository index:

$ sudo apt-get update

Install QMPlay2:

$ sudo apt-get install qmplay2

    The screenshot presents old QMPlay1 with non-existing old youtube-downloader plugin 😀 This is not QMPlay2.
