In this article I will show you how to install Shotwell 0.18 on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander and Linux Mint 16 Petra.

Because it is available via PPA, installing Shotwell 0.18 on Ubuntu 13.10 and Linux Mint 16 is easy. All you have to do is add the ppa to your system, update the local repository index and install the shotwell package. Like this:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:yorba/ppa
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install shotwell
