How To Install Shutter 0.90.1 On Ubuntu 13.10, 13.04, 12.10, 12.04, 10.04 And Linux Mint 15, 14, 13

Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Shutter is a screenshot tool, similar to the Windows 7 Snipping Tool. The latest version available is Shutter 0.90.1, which comes with some improvements and bugfixes only.

In this article I will show you how to install Shutter 0.90.1 on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx, Linux Mint 16 Petra, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia, Linux Mint 13 Maya and Elementary OS 0.2 Luna.

Because it is available via PPA, installing Shutter 0.90.1 on Ubuntu and Linux Mint is easy, all you have to do is:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:shutter/ppa
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install shutter
