How To Install SMPlayer 0.8.5 Fedora 19, Fedora 18 And Fedora 17

Hello Linux Geeksters. SMPlayer is a another free front-end for MPlayer (like Gnome MPlayer). I will show you how to install it via command line, from the SMPlayer repository.

In this article I will show you how to install SMPlayer 0.8.5 on Fedora 19, Fedora 18 and Fedora 17.

Instructions for installing SMPlayer on Fedora:

$ sudo yum localinstall --nogpgcheck http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-$(rpm -E %fedora).noarch.rpm http://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/fedora/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-$(rpm -E %fedora).noarch.rpm
$ sudo yum update
$ sudo yum install smplayer
