Hello guys. First time Linux user here. I was fortunate to get a rig from a good friend and he felt like I could use this to learn something new. I’ve been wanting to watch some vids on my rig and installing VLC is a pain. Please forgive my naiveness, but do I need to be hooked up to the internet to run these commands? I don’t have a wifi card yet and am looking for one. Any advice would help. Thanks Linux Vets.
