How to Install VLC on Slackware 14.0 Via Command Line Interface

Hello Geekster. In this article I will show you how to install VLC 2.0.3 on Slackware 14.0.

Actually, it is quite simple, all you have to do is download the vlc*.txz and install it with installpkg:

Grab VLC:

# wget -c slackware.org.uk/people/alien/restricted_slackbuilds/vlc/pkg/14.0/vlc-2.0.6-i486-2alien.txz

Install VLC:

# installpkg vlc-2.0.3-x86_64-1alien.txz

This is it. Enjoy.
