$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

If you don’t have KDE, install KDE 4.10.4:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop
