As you may know, Deepin Music Player is a free, open-source music player which is used by default on Deepin, an Ubuntu derivative system specially created for the Chinese people.
Among others, it has a customizable user interface, uses gstreamer as frond-end, is capable of displaying the lyrics, has support for FM radio and online streams. Also, it supports audio CD playback and lossless formats, supports conversion between audio formats, has a built-in equalizer, can be used in either simple mode or full screen, has fast search features, it stores the playback history, and permits the users to change the default skin.
The latest version available is Deepin Music Player 14.12.1, which is used by default on Deepin 14.x.
The latest version of the Deepin Music Player is available via some third party PPA, so installing the software on Ubuntu systems is easy.
All you need to do is add the PPA to your system, update the local repository index and install the deepin-music package:
$ sudo apt-add-repository ppa:noobslab/deepin-sc
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install deepin-music
The installation instructions should work on Ubuntu 15.10 Wily Werewolf, Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet, Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr and derivative systems like Linux Mint 17.x and Elementary OS 0.3 Freya.
