Hello Linux Geeksters. In this article I will show you how to install Ubuntu Tweak 0.8.5 or how to update the installed version of Ubuntu Tweak to Ubuntu Tweak 0.8.5, on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia and Linux Mint 13 Maya.

Ubuntu Tweak is a tool for easily configurating Ubuntu. It provides many configuration options, which are not accessible by default.

Install Or Update Ubuntu Tweak To Ubuntu Tweak 0.8.5

To install / update to Ubuntu Tweak 0.8.5, on Ubuntu 13.04, 12.10, 12.04 and Linux Mint, do:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tualatrix/ppa
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ubuntu-tweak

To install Ubuntu Tweak 0.8.5 on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, do:

$ wget -c https://launchpad.net/ubuntu-tweak/0.8.x/0.8.5/+download/ubuntu-tweak_0.8.5-1_all.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i ubuntu-tweak_0.8.5-1_all.deb
$ sudo apt-get install -f
