Install XFCE Desktop Environment On Ubuntu 12.04 and Linux Mint 13

In this short article I will show you how to install the XFCE Desktop Environment on Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin and Linux Mint 13 Maya.

XFCE is a lightweight Desktop Environment, from the Ubuntu and Linux Mint official repos.

So, to install XFCE on Ubuntu and Linux Mint, just do:
$ sudo apt-get install xfce4

To remove XFCE from Ubuntu and Linux Mint, just do:
$ sudo apt-get remove xfce4
