LG’s First Firefox OS Smartphone, LG D300 Fireweb, To Be Released In Latin America And Est Europe In The Following Months

As a reminder, Mozilla has developed its own mobile operating system based on HTML5, called Firefox OS. LG, Huawei, ZTE and Alcatel have already announced their support for the new Mozilla OS. LG D300 “Fireweb” is the first Firefox OS phone from LG.

  • 4.3″ Capacitive Touch Screen
  • 5 MP Camera
  • 7.2 Mbps 3G speed capability
  • Firefox OS V1.1

LG D300 Fireweb will be officially released in Brazil this month. Also, with the support of América Móvil, Deutsche Telekom and Telenor, the LG’s Firefox OS smartphone will be released in 14 new countries in the Latin America, in the following months.

Also, Telenor and COSMOTE should release Firefox OS mobile phones in Serbia, Montenegro, Greece and Hungary soon.
