Linux News: Canonical Speeds Up The Animation And Brings Updates To Unity 7, On Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander

Hello Linux Geeksters. As you already know, Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander will be released on the 17th of October, 2013. In the latest weeks, Canonical has worked hard, in order to fix all the issues found, until the official release.

Among others, Canonical has speeded up the maximize and minimize animation and made some Unity improvements for the application switching between apps from different desktops.

Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander will bring amazing new features, like the Unity Smart Scopes, which transform the Dash into a search area, acting itself like a search engine, capable of searching on both the local computer and online websites or Unity 7, working with both X.org server and XMir, so every Ubuntu and Linux enthusiast should be excited with the release of Ubuntu Saucy.
