In this article I will show you how to install LibreOffice 4.3 RC3 on Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Pinguy OS, Elementary OS, Deepin, LXLE, Linux Lite, Peppermint, Debian, Kwheezy, Crunchbang, SparkyLinux and other Ubuntu/Debian derivative systems.

Because it is not available via any repository, we have to fix the dependency issues, download the archive containing the libreoffice packages from the official site, extract the archive and install the rpm packages inside. Follow the instructions for you system and architecture exactly, in order to get a successful installation.

How to install LibreOffice 4.3 RC3 on 32 bit Ubuntu, Debian and derivative systems:

$ wget http://packages.bodhilinux.com/bodhi/pool/testing/libo/libobasis4.0-core01/libobasis4.0-core01_4.0.0.3-103_i386.deb
$ wget http://packages.bodhilinux.com/bodhi/pool/testing/libr/libreoffice4.0-ure/libreoffice4.0-ure_4.0.0.3-103_i386.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i lib*.deb
$ wget download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/testing/4.3.0/deb/x86/LibreOffice_4.3.0.3_Linux_x86_deb.tar.gz
$ tar -xzvf LibreOffice_4.3.0.3_Linux_x86_deb.tar.gz
$ cd LibreOffice_4.3.0.3_Linux_x86_deb/DEBS
$ sudo dpkg -i *.deb

Optional, to remove LibreOffice 4.3 RC3, do:

$ sudo apt-get remove libreoffice*
