Reminders, Canonical’s Open Source Evernote Client For Ubuntu Touch Gets Updated Again

Hello Linux Geeksters. As I have recently written, Canonical has started work at an open source Evernote client, based on the Ubuntu SDK, in order to optimize it for Ubuntu Touch. The new Evernote client for Ubuntu Touch has been named “Ubuntu Reminders” and is created by both Canonical and third party developers, in order to reproduce the Ubuntu Touch Core Apps Project’ success.

The Reminders App has been updated again, getting a little closer to a release. To support the project, test the app and fill in bug reports. The app’s trunk can be downloaded from here. If you want to contrubite to this project, here is all the information you need.

As a reminder, the first stable version of Ubuntu Touch (based on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander) has been released a week ago. The next daily images of the Ubuntu Touch system are now based on Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr, despite the fact that the development for it started only a few days ago.
