Sailfish OS Has Been Installed On A Libhybris Enabled Cubieboard2 ARM Computer

Hello Linux Geeksters. Some third party geeks have successfully installed Sailfish OS on other devices than the Jolla smartphone. And this is just the beginning. I am sure that the XDA developers will install Jolla’s Sailfish OS on many Android phones, as soon as the images will be officially released.

Sailfish OS Has Been Installed On A Libhybris Enabled Cubieboard2 ARM Computer

Martin Brook has successfully installed Sailfish OS on a libhybris enabled Cubieboard2 ARM mini computer and created the above demo video:

For those who don’t know yet, Sailfish OS is a Meego Linux derivate, compatible with Android, used by default on the Jolla phones. The second pre-orders of the Jolla phone will be closed soon, but we don’t know yet what countries will be getting Jolla. For sure, it will be released in Denmark with the Three mobile operator.
