Tails OS 2.0 Beta 1 (OS Focused On Internet Privacy) Has Been Released

As you may know, Tails is a free and open-source operating system that provides the users an incognito live system, focused on keeping the user’s anonymity.

The OS became famous because it has been used by Edward Snowden, an ex CIA employee, to hide from the government’s eyes after leaking sensitive information.

Today, Tails 2.0 Beta 1 has been released, being based on Debian 8.0 Jessie. Also worth mentioning, starting with the final version, it will adopt a version of GNOME Shell that runs in Classic mode.

It is an interesting operating system, ideal if you want to bypass internet censorship, because it uses the Tor network. Also, it does not leave any trace on the host computer and the files and emails are encrypted and.

I am looking forward to install and test the final version of Tails 2.0, but the Beta 1 is also usable.
