The Pi NoIR (No Infrared) Raspberry Pi Compatible Camera Is Now Available For Online Ordering

Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may already know, the Pi NoIR is Raspberry Pi compatible camera which has the infrared filters removed, in order to sense IR signals and low-light movement. With this camera, the users may take amazing photographies in low-light conditions or at night.

The Pi NoIR camera has is now available for online ordering, via RS Components or Premier Farnell, for $25, as I already wrote here.

For those who don’t know, Raspberry Pi is a mini-computer with the size of a credit-card, having a 700 Mhz ARM CPU, 512 MB of RAM, USB ports, Ethernet port, HDMI port for pluging TVs or monitors, and supports SD cards up to 32 GB. Used with a keyboard, mouse and plugged in at a TV, this small ARM device turns into a modest computer, good for daily basic tasks.
