The Wine have been discussing at the World Wine News (WWN) on whether to implement USB support for Wine or not.
While the Wine development has started 20 years ago and USB ports are 18 years old, this feature is still not implemented, but this may not be such a big problem, due to the fact that the latest Linux systems have native support for NTFS and FAT32.
When plugged in, the USB sticks are recognized by the Linux system and get automatically mounted.
