Ubuntu MATE Donates To Debian, MATE And Syncthing From July’s Earnings

Ubuntu MATE is the newest member from the Ubuntu family, becoming an official flavor starting with the release of Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet.

As we have written before, Ubuntu MATE has created a habit from donating money to open-source developers. For now, they have donated to Debian, Ubuntu and to the developers of Folder Color, Gufw, Tilda terminal emulator, Plank and TLP.

From July’s earnings, Ubuntu MATE donated money to the developers of Debian, MATE and Syncthing.

It is important for the developers to support each others and if there were more people with such habits, developing would be a little easier.
