Ubuntu Touch For OnePlus Has Received WiFi Support

Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, the first Ubuntu phones are BQ Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition and Meizu MX4 Ubuntu Edition, while the operating system (Ubuntu Touch) is officially supported on the Nexus 4 device developed by Google and LG.

But the community has started porting Canonical’s mobile OS to their favorite phones, OnePlus and LG Optimus G being two of them. While the Ubuntu Touch port is still not fully functional on OnePlus, its developer has recently posted on the forum that he has managed to make the WiFi working.

The main functions that are not yet available on Ubuntu Touch for OnePlus are: camera, sound, GSM, bluetooth, rotation.
