Wayland, Fedora 23’s New Display Server, Has Received Multimonitor Support

As you may know, Fedora 23 plans to use Wayland as the system’s default display server, despite the fact that it’s under massive development.

Recently, the developers have announced that Wayland has received support for using more than one monitor and LibreOffice has been ported to GTK+3, to support Wayland. Despite the fact that the Fedora users could install and test Wayland starting with Fedora 21 GNOME, it has not been set by default yet.

Also, the login screen uses Wayland by default starting with Fedora 22.
