According To The Steam Hardware Survey On January, The Usage Of Steam For Linux Has Shrinked

As you can see for yourself, the only platforms that have seen a grow of usage are: Windows 8.1 both 32 and 64 bit, Mac OS 10.9.1 64 bit, Linux Mint 16 Petra 64 bit and Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit.

This is not so bad, since January has been a very slow month in this sector.

For those who don’t know, Valve has initiated some ambitions projects: the SteamOS, a Linux operating system optimized for gaming, the Steam Machine, a gaming colsole that will run with SteamOS and the Steam Controller, a game controller specially designed for SteamOS and the Steam Machine. A demo video of the Steam Controller can be found here.
