Arch Linux 2015.08.01 has been released and is powered by Kernel 4.1 and includes all the update patches since the 1st of July 2015.
For those who don’t know, a new Arch Linux system is released in the first day of every month, permitting the users that don’t have the system installed to download and install an up-to-date Arch Linux version.
Those who use Arch Linux, Manjaro or another derivative system can receive the upgrade by performing a regular system upgrade:
$ sudo pacman -Syu
If you still have doubts about Arch Linux, you should have in mind that it is the most lightweight and customizable rolling-release system, it has a great community and is among the first systems that provide the newest software versions.
