Canonical Decided To Switch AudioFlinger With PulseAudio, On Ubuntu Touch

Canonical has decided to replace Android’s AudioFlinger, with PulseAudio, as the default app for playing and recording audio on Ubuntu Touch, the Ubuntu mobile operating system.

Canonical decided to make this change, in order to increase the efficiency of the device and extend the battery life.
