As you may know, Mozilla Firefox 24 has been released a while ago. Among others, Mozilla Firefox 24 comes with a new feature called “Close tabs to the right”, that enables the users to close all the opened tabs from the right side of the current one, with only one click.

Ubuntu is the first Linux system that has included the Mozilla Firefox 24.0 packages in the default repositories. So, Firefox 24.0 is available for Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal and Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin.
All the user has to do is upgrade the system:
$ sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
If you don’t want to perform a full system upgrade just for getting Firefox 24 on your Ubuntu, follow the instructions in this article in order to install Mozilla’s latest web browser.
