Canonical In Discussions With Dell On Releasing Desktops And Laptops With UbuntuKylin Preinstalled, For China

Canonical is in advanced discussions with Dell, on releasing PCs and laptops having UbuntuKylin 13.10 preinstalled,in order to become an important player on the chinese OS market.

As you may know, UbuntuKylin is an Ubuntu OS, developed for the chinese users, bringing an desktop environment in Chinese and the popular software that the chinese people need, installed by default. In april, UbuntuKylin 13.04 has been officially released and already got over 70.000 downloads by July.

Canonical is in advanced discussions with Dell, on releasing PCs and laptops having UbuntuKylin 13.10 preinstalled, for the chinese market.

UbuntuKylin 13.10 will be released in October, bringing more features for the chinese people, in order to make Ubuntu become a popular Linux distro on the China market.
