As you may know, Canonical is working hard at making Ubuntu the first convergent system on the market, meaning that the same system will be usable on both mobile devices and desktop computers, but the graphical design will behave different. While the windows are full screen only on phones and tablets, they will be resizable on desktops.

For now, Ubuntu Touch is more advanced than the desktop version of the system, but Canonical is already working at porting mobile features to the desktop.
Canonical has teased the users, posting “The same Ubuntu experience across any device – coming soon.” on their Google+ account, suggesting that the convergence is close to be finished.
As you may know, Ubuntu Touch already supports monitors, keyboards and mice, but you need as special on-the-go (OTG) cable if you want to plug gadgets to your phone.
