CuteTube Will Be Available For Jolla’s Sailfish OS Soon

Hello Jolla Enthusiasts. As you may know, cuteTube is a client with support for popular video services like YouTube, Vimeo and Dailymotion, enabling the users to search and play videos from the listed video streaming services. Also the users can easily login and manage his videos, playlists and subscriptions easily.

While cuteTube is developed for Nokia N9’s Harmattan, the developer has announced on OpenRepos that a cuteTube version of Jolla’s Sailfish OS will be available soon:

For those who don’t know yet, Jolla is a project developed by former Nokia employees. The first Jolla smartphone is running on Sailfish OS, a modified Megoo Linux system, which is Android compatible, uses Wayland as the default display server , uses Nokia N9′s Maliit touchscreen keyboard and comes with interchangeable covers, allowing the users to easily switch them, in order to change the color/model of the phone and comes with impressive hardware specifications.

    Cutetube was certainly a winner on the n9 and was only one of a few app purchases I made. so yeah, looking forward to seeing it for SailfishOS.

    By the way, what’s a ‘Megoo’ Linux system?
