Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, the Debian developers have released the fourth maintenance version of Debian Wheezy, Debian 7.4 Wheezy.

Debian 7.4 Wheezy Has Been Officially Released

Among others, Debian 7.4 “Wheezy” comes with a lot of security fixes, adopted Kernel 3.2.54, brings updates for the kfreebsd-8 and kfreebsd-9 packages, got Gnash enhancements, comes with fixes for the nut, openssl, TuxGuitar, whois and xfce4-weather-plugin packages, and updated both the debian-installer and debian-handbook.

While the ISO images of Debian 7.4 can be downloaded from the here, the users having a previous version of Debian Wheezy already installed can get the latest updates by performing a normal system update:

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
