Debian And The Software Freedom Conservancy Have Teamed Up

The Debian Project has recently announced that they have teamed up with the Software Freedom Conservancy non-profit organization to create the Debian Copyright Aggregation Project.

This information has been announced by Bradley M. Kuhn from the Software Freedom Conservancy at the DebConf 2015 event which takes place this days in Heidelberg, Germany.

This agreement ensures that the developers of open-source software release their apps under the GPL licence or allow the Software Freedom Conservancy to take care of their copyrights at all times.

If you are one of the Debian contributors, all you need to do is contact the Software Freedom Conservancy organization via email.
