Hello Linux Geeksters. The second maintenance release of Debian Wheezy, Debian 7.2 has been released and is now available for download. It comes with some security updates and fixes, in order to provide increased stability.

To upgrade from Debian 7.0 or Debian 7.1, to Debian Wheezy 7.2, it is not necesarry to create a bootable USB or CD, in order to do a fresh installation, a regular system update is enough:
$ sudo apt-get update update
$ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
Among others, the kernel has been updated to Kernel 3.2.51. For more information, see this annoucement on the Debian site.
